What a day in Town of Ashland, Virginia! Downtown Ashland Association’s Ashland Christmas Market kicked off with a special Raffle Drawing raising $1,328 for the MidAtlantic Railroad Park!
Richmond Area NRail, Richmond Area NTRAK, N Scale modelers presented the Green River Station Model Railroad under the Virtual Railfan Ashland Camera and on Facebook Live.

When all was said and done, Karla S. from Spotsylvania with the 1,140th ticket sold, won the grand Prize.
Tiny Tim's Trains & Toys Sue Hemingway helped us shake, rattle and roll the ticket barrel. And Tom Wulf serving the MidAtlantic Railroad Park Committee drew the winning ticket.
After the ceremony, the celebratory group rolled the layout down the street, across Rt 54, to Tiny Tim’s Trains where Ashland Christmas Market shoppers were in full swing!
CSX and Amtrak also played their customary role by rumbling through town to the delight of Ashland’s rail fans 🚂🚃🚃🚃
